I am 29 weeks pregnant and me and my husband had intercourse yesterday. after I noticed the slightest hint of blood when i wiped. Almost so slight that if I wasn’t paying attention i wouldn’t have noticed, and I notice a little today. Should I be concerned?

The cervical mucosa becomes more friable during pregnancy and tends to bleed easier because of increased blood circulation. Sex can irritate the mucosa and rupture blood vessels. Even if you suspect it to be benign, you should still be evaluated by your obstetrician with a physical exam as bleeding could be a sign of an underlying condition.
