My 15 month old has a runny stuffy nose with lime green mucus and has a very wet cough. Should i go to the doctor?

Green mucus is not necessarily a sign of serious infection. More importantly is whether your child has a fever, sinus pain, feeding intolerance, or shortness of breath. If these symptoms are present, your child should be evaluated by his pediatrician. From the symptoms it sounds as if your child might have an upper resipratory infection. Most upper respiratory infections are actually viral and not treatable by antibiotics.
